Clarence

I performed with the US Army Band for over twenty years around the country, during which I gained extensive experience in classical and jazz music. Some of this time was spent as an arranger for small jazz groups and big bands. My performances have been diverse, spanning jazz, jazz fusion, gospel, and classical genres. I have also been honored to perform with many professional national artists, such as George Jones, Charlie Pride, Merle Haggard, and more. With a strong foundation in classical and jazz, I have provided private instruction for piano, bass, and organ on and off for over twenty-five years nationwide. 2004-2009, I served as the MIDI instructor at the Armed Forces School of Music. During this time, I was responsible for training Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines with a piano background to use computer-based tools to develop compositions and perform music. I have also been a percussion instructor and a small group instructor.
