As a guitar player and teacher with over ten years of experience, I have honed my skills in styles such as classical, pop, jazz, blues (delta and bottleneck), and rock. I believe in customizing my lessons to fit each student's needs, desires, strengths, and weaknesses and emphasizing the fundamentals of good time-keeping, the basics, and learning at the right pace. I aim to help my students play the guitar well, communicate through music, and find their unique voices. Sharing my knowledge and watching my students grow and develop in their musical journeys is a true joy. Aside from teaching, I am passionate about writing, recording, and performing original music. I have also had the privilege of recording with Bethel Music and playing guitar at various local Houston churches, further solidifying my love for music and my desire to share it with others.
